About Us

Lucky Dogs Club House is a non-profit dog rescue and shelter located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We operate as both a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and as an AC (Mexican nonprofit) in Mexico. We rescue street dogs and abandoned dogs in San Miguel de Allende and neighboring communities. We provide these dogs with medical care, food and socialization.

We do not keep our dogs in cages, all our dogs have room to run and play and be dogs in a safe environment. We have a dedicated wing in our shelter for puppies and new moms. We also have a dedicated wing in our shelter for injured dogs, to allow them to recover. Our shelter director is a veterinarian. After a dog is ready for adoption, we find homes for our dogs in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
